Our mission is simple. To leverage innovation and clinical best practices to produce next-gen lifesaving respiratory devices that enable advanced therapies like oxygen delivery with on-demand resuscitation, and high flow oxygen therapy to be implemented in any care environment.

Tosan Ugbeye is the CEO and Founder of Scopemed, leading the company in advancing respiratory care with innovative solutions. With a Master’s degree in Anesthesia from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from Cleveland State University, Tosan blends clinical expertise and business acumen to drive Scopemed’s mission.

As a Certified Anesthetist, Mr. Ugbeye has over a decade of clinical experience in anesthesia, including at a Level 1 Trauma Center during the Covid-19 pandemic. Under his leadership, Scopemed is pioneering airway management with its flagship product, O2rizon, a modular device that integrates the redundancy in oxygen masks in the past to provide a platform for the oxygen therapy of the future.

Dr. Shawn Iravanchy is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Scopemed, bringing over two decades of expertise in engineering, strategic planning, and technology development. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.

As Principal Director of Engineering at The Aerospace Corporation, a position he has held for over 24 years, Dr. Iravanchy excels in aerospace engineering and technical leadership. At Scopemed, he applies his visionary leadership and innovative problem-solving skills to drive the company's mission of revolutionizing respiratory care, developing groundbreaking products like the SCOPE respirator.

Dr. Iravanchy is adept at anticipating customer needs, executing strategic plans, and driving success through program management and partnership development. His proven track record in team development and consensus building is a driving force behind Scopemed's technological advancements and growth in the medical devices industry.
